The Kiwanis Club of Warner Center has served the Los Angeles community since 1991. Our projects are aimed at the needs of young children, providing learning opportunities, growth and development. Our Kiwanis Club is a "morning club" meeting Thursdays, 7:10 am-8:30 am at Weiler's West Hills Delicatessen, 22323 Sherman Way, West Hills at Shoup Ave. Our meetings build enduring friendships and connections, they are lively, fun and educational. Visitors are always welcome!
Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. As a group they can achieve what individuals cannot do alone. These individuals belong to Kiwanis clubs located throughout the world, attend regular meetings for fellowship and inspiration and perform voluntary community service through committees within each club. Kiwanis is a service organization and it does not prescribe a way of life for others.
Kiwanis members are ordinary people performing extraordinary work. Kiwanis, through guidance and example, works to develop future generations of leaders. Our service projects include building school gardens, Terrific Kids awards, an equestrian competition for special needs children and adults, Ronald McDonald House Sunday dinner service to residents and American flags along Ventura Blvd.
Join our club and perform extraordinary community service!
